Developed independently by Ford, the Puma EV is based on the gasoline model’s platform, featuring a 165-horsepower electric motor, delivering 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8 seconds. The vehicle’s range is about 377 km, with a 43 kWh battery that can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 23 minutes using a 100 kW DC fast charger.

The design of the Puma Gen-E features modifications to improve aerodynamics, such as replacing the front grille with a closed version. The absence of a combustion engine and transmission allowed for an almost completely flat rear floor, increasing interior space, particularly in the back seat.

While the design is similar to the gasoline model, the Puma Gen-E comes with a 12-inch touchscreen and a digital dashboard, along with a new central console offering more storage options.
